About Microbs

Microbs is a French company based at the Biopôle in Rennes. It develops microbiological quality-control technology that combines solid-phase cytometry with artificial intelligence. Its system, IAN, is designed for routine QC: fully automated, with no specialist expertise needed to run it (Microbs).

Microbs states that IAN’s AI analyses more than 100 criteria for each signal and was trained on 40 million events, which is how it separates real microorganisms from particles and background.
